I started my morning with 2 cups of warm lemon water.
I also made myself 2 sandwiches, 1 for breakfast and 1 for work. A great way to cut off some calories in sandwich making, is to only use one slice of bread. I honestly hate using 2 slices anyway because I feel like all I taste is bread. Even when I eat burgers haha! One bread is enough for this gal.
My sandwich had mayo, mustard, thin slices of turkey, ham, and salami with pepper jack cheese and cucumbers on a piece of rye bread. I allow myself to eat cheese and meat in the mornings because, like I said earlier, mornings are the time to eat! You’ll burn it all off by the end of the day. It’s what you eat in the afternoons and evenings that will make you gain weight. So be careful during those meals! I also had a chocolate chip cookie with my coffee.
For lunch, I ate my sandwich with organic tomatoes and brought some vegetables to munch on for a snack.
Also, make sure you are staying hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day!!
Lemon water, peach tea, mushroom crepes, fried fish, coffee, plus a little cookie hehe
Ok y’all, lemon water and ginger tea. 2 of each! I love drinking something warm in the mornings!
Ok now for my breakfast, I don’t even know what to tell y’all. My mother-in-law made this dish. I think it’s rice, or “kasha”.. The dressing on it has carrots and tomatoes as well as beef. I only had a little of the beef though. Dark meat makes my belly hurt.
And I was still a bit hungry so I munched on some carrot sticks.
Yum! Organic eggs, pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, feta cheese, cilantro, and cucumbers with yummy yummy lemon water and peach tea! 🍳🌿🍋🍑🍵☕️ I did have some coffee as well.
Within 30 minutes of waking up, I drink 2 cups of warm lemon water. I take the juice of half a lemon and squeeze it into cup #1. I take that lemon and drop it into cup #2’s boiling water. I’ve read many articles about the benefits of drinking warm lemon water. It definitely helps kick start the digestive system. It’s supposed to flush out toxins, which is why I drink it every morning, even when I’m going through a bad eating phase. Sometimes I add cinnamon or cucumbers to my water.
